Old freight wagons become eye-catchers

Catching stories from the past’ is central at Strijp-T. This principle applies when transforming the monumental industrial former Philips factories. But also with other historically valuable elements such as railway tracks that are further accentuated by the two rail wagons.

In the Eindhovens Dagblad of August 20 it was reported that: “At Strijp-T old freight wagons are getting a second life as striking eye-catchers. These characteristic wagons, once part of the industrial railway past, are now being used as creative elements in the public space. They contribute to the unique atmosphere of the site and form a tangible reminder of the area's rich history
