The former machine factory

Building TX was put into service in 1957; it supplied machines for the production of, among other things, televisions and X-ray equipment. Especially for carrying out the precision work, the building has a vibration-free floor and the machines were mounted on a foundation through the crawlspace to maximize their stability. These were, for example, components for cyclotrons, electron microscopes and X-ray equipment that had to be manufactured with micron accuracy.
